DMA Door Drop Nuts and Bolts Event

by Neal Dodd on 25/10/2018

The DMA have recently announced the creation of a Door Drop Hub, working with direction from the Print Council, which I am pleased to be part of.

We have put together a door drop ‘nuts and bolts’ event, which will be an 8-10am session on 28th November 2018, at the DMA House in London.

The event is primarily aimed at people who have little or no experience with the channel, or perhaps who have not used the channel for a while.

Client and agency speakers will discuss how door drops fit into their multi-media campaigns, and there will be a presentation from a door drop expert about the latest targeting techniques, national and local distribution options, as well as creative and print techniques.

The current line up is as follows:

  • Peter Whittall, from Direct Letterbox Marketing – providing an overview on door drops targeting, distribution methods, GDPR compliance and the benefits of using a DMA member company.
  • Nicky Lomax, from More2 – discussing how their retail marketing agency use door drops within their multi-media plans.
  • Isla Munroe, from The Dragonfly Agency – explaining how The Postcode Lottery are using door drops to great effect.

We are pleased that this event is going ahead and would encourage anyone new to door drops, or those who are perhaps not sure about the best way to go about planning and booking activity, to attend.

This should be the first of several events around the UK, so if you’re not able to travel to London but you are interested in learning more about door drops, please contact us.

Tickets for the event can be booked here and we’d suggest booking early as these events generally sell out quite quickly.
