How much response goes online?

At the recent DMA Go Integrated Conference, a presentation featured a 2011 research project into the level of response from door drops and inserts that go online.

In the presentation (right), case studies show a consistently high level of online response from door drop and insert based campaigns, across five clients and over three million items.

The results indicate that consumer response online is increasing, and with this trend comes the challenge for marketeers to measure that response effectively, and to understand the contribution of each marketing element to the overall result.
