The door drop industry has seen many changes since our inception in 1995, but we remain at the forefront of industry developments and initiatives.

Our newsletters are designed to keep you updated with industry news, which is why if any of your colleagues, staff or clients would like to receive future copies of the newsletter, please ask them to visit the Contact Page on our website www.letterboxconsultancy.co.uk and register their interest, or just email us.

Last month there was some evidence of our newsletters being forwarded onto other recipients, but we are quite happy to include any other recipients within our circulation list, so that they receive copies direct.

Following comments in our November newsletter, Royal Mail have asked us to point out that there is evidence from some clients that increasing the number of items they carry each week has not adversely affected response rates. We are hoping that Royal Mail will in time be able to provide data that will endorse those findings, which we will share with you if we are allowed to.

We are always interested in hearing about industry results and trends, so would be delighted to hear from you about your experiences since June.

Our independence and impartiality has always allowed us to review clients’ door drop requirements with an open mind and recommend media proposals designed to maximise ROI.

We will commonly undertake local, regional or national door drop activity by any appropriate combination of door drop solutions, which may include Royal Mail door-to-door, free newspapers and/or solus distribution.

We regularly present media solutions that some clients are perhaps not aware of through their existing suppliers, so the next time a brief crosses your desk, contact us for an alternative view.

Our SMART-Drop service is already appealing to many users. Our competitors regularly appear to claim that it is not a new service, but it is. We would urge clients and their agencies to make up their own minds by inviting us to submit a proposal for your next activity and make a direct comparison to your existing supplier’s.
