BREAKING NEWS – Royal Mail raise cap on number of items again!

by on 15/11/2010

The Letterbox Consultancy can today report that Royal Mail have announced that they are increasing the cap on the number of items to six, from 3rd January 2011.

Businesses who are planning door drop campaigns using the Royal Mail distribution service next year will now have access to six slots, available for non-competing items, following today’s announcement.

As you may be aware, this follows cap increases during 2010 to four items, where it currently stands.

This will have an impact on availability for your proposed leaflet campaigns, and is likely to mean that the postman will be delivering an increased number of items on average, per week.

For advice on what this means to your door to door distribution plans, please contact us and we will be happy to help!
