DMA Annual Door Drop Report 2018

by Team on 10/07/2018

The DMA Door Drop Annual Report for 2018 has now been released by the DMA Print Council, reporting on UK door drop volumes for 2017.

This includes details about the total volume and spend, frequency and a comparative analysis against previous years.

Some highlights are:

  • The recorded frequency per week is 4.03 items, just 0.04 items less than 2016.
  • Door drop spend remains high in comparison with 2015, though is slightly reduced from 2016.
  • The almost complete slowdown of decline in total volume, added to optimism around GDPR compliance, leads to optimism of growth for 2018.

The report can be downloaded in full here.

The Letterbox Consultancy runs its own volume blog and Graham will soon post his thoughts about how this compares against the DMA report.
