DMA Award Winning Campaign!

In December 2019 the DMA held their annual awards ceremony and we’re delighted that a campaign The Letterbox Consultancy helped plan and implement won the top award in the door drop category.

Huge congratulations go to Blue Chip Marketing and Essity Ltd for the campaign, alongside promotional agency Umbrella.

The door drop involved distribution of two coupons to households across the UK, targeted based on a range of profile and geographical criteria and timed to form part of a wider ABL campaign.

TLC used a combination of distribution methods to deliver the distribution in the most efficient and cost effective way possible, with our SMART-Drop product playing a key role in areas where the key target households existed in smaller quantities.

As well as successfully driving trial of the brand and helping create awareness, the door drop had particular success in coupon retention – with the second of two timed coupons performing very strongly.

The distinctive creative and die-cut item had already been recognised as part of the DMA’s door drop creative review and it’s no surprise to us that the campaign as a whole has been recognised as one of the leading pieces of work for 2018.
