The fast.MAP Marketing Gap Report, Royal Mail D2D strikes, door drop volume news and beware the festive season!

Festive Season capacity and logistics

If your door drop “season” falls into the period w/c December 23rd – w/c January 6th, are you aware of the limitations affecting some door drop services and changes to normal logistical requirements?

Check out our online update, which we will refresh as more information becomes available. It’s a little sparse on detail at present, but the situation is real and will affect your planning.

Competitive bookings can also be a real issue at this time of the year and booking early may be your best policy.

Allow us to manage the competitive issue and advise of how this can be avoided.

Door drop volume monitor

Our September monitor was published last week and reports a surge in the number of door drop items received in September, which we suspect sets a trend for the next couple of months in the run up to Christmas.

The monitor analyses market share volumes and business sector usage.

Free door drop seminar and presentations

GI Solutions run their final free direct mail and door drop seminar in Leicester for 2013 on Thursday November 28th.

As ever, TLC will be completing the door drop session, so click here to book your place now and avoid disappointment.

These one day events are well worth attending.

Alternatively, we would be happy to visit your offices at any time to complete a door drop presentation.

Many agencies now include us within their in-house training programme and it’s quite common that many of the staff we present to are new to the door drop medium, so a presentation covering all aspects of the medium and including case histories is of significant value.

Email sales@letterboxconsultancy.co.uk and let’s get a date in the diary.

New door drop research

If you work in or for the public sector, by the middle of November, we are hoping to be able to share some brand new research with you.

Completed with the assistance of the DMA, the research is our brainchild and will examine a specific topic we do not believe has ever been covered.

More news next month!
