Seasonal bookings, targeting updates & a new door drop guide

Festive drops

With Christmas just two months away, its not too late to book door drop activity through Royal Mail door to door, though space may start to become limited in some business areas.

RM D2D provide a door drop service 52 weeks of the year, so if you are looking at w/c December 28th, it is possible.

Around that time of year free newspaper and team solus coverage will become more limited. Some newspapers simply will not publish and those that do will almost certainly have reduced coverage. Team distribution will also be limited.

And with January sale time just a week on and historically a seasonal peak for the retail and health sectors in particular, our best advice is don’t delay in finalising your plans, so just call Graham or Neal on 01992 637333 for further immediate advice.

And looking further forward, don’t forget Easter is early next year; Good Friday is March 25th!

Targeting

When was the last time you undertook a detailed evaluation of your existing customer database?

How can you be sure your current door drop targeting model is an accurate fit with the consumers actually buying your service or product, visiting your store(s) or donating to your charity?

If you use MOSAIC and don’t have a MOSAIC 6 profile, then you are out of date!

As we start planning 2016 door drop activity, now is the time to revive your modelling. Don’t guess at, or aspire to a profile, use the data in your possession and reap the results.

Once again, just contact us for further immediate advice.

DMA door drop news

The DMA Door Drop Regional/Local Advertiser working party set up to specifically look at the regional/local client marketplace, with Graham as Chairman, has met on a couple of occasions and is currently working on two projects, more of which will follow in the coming months.

The working party is currently only manned by door drop suppliers and would benefit immensely with the addition of a client?

Most of our work is conducted by email/telephone and when we do meet it is at the DMA’s offices in London, so if it is something you are interested in, just email Graham for more details.
