Royal Mail Door to Door price increase

Royal Mail door to door have announced a price increase for their door drop service which takes effect from Monday March 28th.

In 97% of UK sectors the increase has been limited to 1%, but the remaining sectors see an increase of 3%.

The sectors affected by the 3% increase are a mixture of rural and urban sectors, but some London postcode areas – E, EC, N, NW, RM, SE, SW & W – are particularly prominent.

Many postcode areas only have a handful of sectors affected by the 3% increase, whilst others are not affected at all, so the overall impact on your door drop activity may be limited.

However, there is a window of opportunity to avoid the price increase and book as far forward as early 2017, saving precious budget.

The window is limited, so our best advice is to urgently contact Graham or Neal and seek our further advice by calling 01992 637333 or send us a message today.

The Royal Mail D2D service continues to provide one of the most reliable and efficient door drop options in the marketplace and for many clients should remain a core part of their door drop plans.

Nationally, Royal Mail’s depth of coverage at postal sector level remains much higher than most other options and their ability to complete high volumes, nationally or locally within a one week period, particularly in rural areas remain key features of the service.

As licenced Royal Mail affiliates, The Letterbox Consultancy can offer you a booking service with a guaranteed 24 hour maximum turnaround from the point from when a distribution postal sector schedule is agreed – often faster!

So please feel free to contact us at any time.

TLC offer a totally independent and impartial door drop planning and buying service, so if you are not a current client and would welcome a New Year health check for your door drop activity, please email us and we will respond by return.

In addition to our Royal Mail service, we can also supply nationwide team and free newspaper distribution opportunities, enhanced as necessary by our SMART-Drop service.
