Royal Mail Door to Door announce price rise

by Neal Dodd on 05/01/2015

Royal Mail have announced price rises to the Royal Mail door to door service, starting from 30th March 2015.

The prices will rise by an average of 2.5%, though some areas and volumes will be affected more than others.

The critical dates for this price rise are as follows:

– New rates go live – Monday 30th March 2015

– Last date we can book at current rate card prices – Friday 6th March 2015

NB: Royal Mail door to door bookings can be made for up to 13 months in advance at current rate prices, providing the booking is confirmed by Friday 6th March.

We would expect booking activity to be very busy prior to the booking deadline, and would recommend that activity for the next 13 months is considered ASAP.

The Letterbox Consultancy can help plan and implement your door drop booking using Royal Mail door to door, as well as proposing suitable alternative distribution methods where necessary.

By acting quickly, it’s likely that we can confirm the door drop areas and timing that you want, without the price increase affecting you. But don’t delay and contact us to discuss your booking further.
