Door Drops Get Interest from Digital Businesses

by graham on 22/11/2011

Graham Dodd recently spoke at ExactTarget’s Connections 2011 – The Power of One Conference in London. Sharing a platform with Tony Mooney, Services Director at Sky IQ, the session was about harnessing the power of offline and online marketing and was attended by over 100 delegates.

Graham’s presentation focused on the power of door drop targeting and recent developments in that critically important area of planning. He was also able to show many examples of a wide range of clients currently linking their door drop activity with online marketing. These included examples of clients driving consumers to generic or dedicated websites and the use of Facebook, Twitter and QR codes in door drop material.

It also included extracts from recent Royal Mail door to door and fast.MAP/IPM research, all of which is available upon request from The Letterbox Consultancy.

Given that the conference was mainly attended by people with a digital background, it was gratifying to see the number of Tweets made during the session indicating that the audience had found something that they could either use themselves to promote their business, or advise their clients to test and/or use in future campaigns.

At the close of the session and over the next few days, many made contact with The Letterbox Consultancy for following meetings.

If you were unable to attend Connections2011 and would like to arrange a time to see the presentation at your office, please make your request through the contact page and we will happily respond by return.
