Breaking news: Royal Mail Door to Door – strike update

by Neal Dodd on 16/10/2013

It has been confirmed that Communications Workers Union members have voted four to one in favour of strike action at Royal Mail.

The strike is aimed at protecting workers’ current terms and conditions and has been penciled in for Monday 4th November 2013.

Following this news, The Letterbox Consultancy are on hand to offer support and advice as to how the strike may affect your door drop plans.

We do not believe that any door drop bookings made for w/c 4th November 2013 will be affected, with the exception that the items will not be distributed on Monday 4th. The postal workers will be back to work from Tuesday 5th November, and we expect the distribution of your door to door items to carry on as normal from that point.

Bookings for w/c 4th November are no longer available with Royal Mail door to door, but if you have a booking for that week confirmed and would like advise, please get in touch.

To discuss distribution for w/c 11th November onwards, or for a more general conversation about the strike action and your door drop options, please contact us today.
