SMART-Drop Continues To Attract New Users…

Since our participation in the September seminar in Manchester, a wide range of advertisers have requested more information about how they can use SMART-Drop in their door drop campaigns, while some have completed test activity and others have tests planned for the New Year.

Door drop users, whether they be new to the medium or existing or lapsed users of door drop marketing, are attracted to SMART-Drop for different reasons.

Door Drop Leafleting & Testing

New and lapsed users of the medium are attracted by SMART-Drop’s ability to reduce the levels of wastage, which in some instances drove them away from the medium in the first place. The reduction of wastage can potentially increase ROI and this has encouraged this band of clients to test the concept. Some have already completed first stage testing and are moving on to a second stage, whilst one new direct response client enters their third phase of testing in the New Year.

More and more existing users of the medium are also planning to test SMART-Drop in the early months of 2011, with matrices running alongside existing planned activity. For these clients, the proposition is not that SMART-Drop replaces their existing plans, but successfully augments them.

We have developed several interesting test opportunities for clients already committed to activity before Easter and such matrices can still easily be implemented for any other client interested in undertaking a test before Easter – or at any time.

Door Drop Coverage Extended

And we continue to develop the reach of SMART-Drop.

In January, we hope to add one of the UK’s most affluent counties to the free newspaper reach of the service. Agreement has already been reached with the newspaper publisher, so now it is just a case of interrogating the data being made available to us and then offering the county to clients.
