SMART-Drop – an update…

by Team on 15/10/2012

Since our last door drop seminar back in May, our SMART-Drop targeting and distribution service has continued to expand, in terms of both client use and the reach of the free newspaper option.

Over the last five months, colleges and universities, more charities, department stores, estate agents and property developers have all successfully tested the system for the first time.

Of perhaps more critical importance, many of the case history clients we presented at the seminar from the leisure and particularly the f.m.c.g. areas, have or are about to repeat door drop activity (some with increased volumes) and that surely is a positive sign.

These clients are benefiting from their willingness to test the service and learn from the results.

We have also been busy talking to free newspaper publishers and have signed agreements with the Iliffe and CN Newspaper groups, now providing even more coverage in the Home Counties and for the first time in Cumbria (where we are the only company which holds that data in the UK).

Discussions are ongoing with other free newspaper publishers and we hope to announce more additions to the service in the coming months.

Provision of the core Royal Mail door to door, solus and free newspaper services still obviously remain key elements of our overall door drop service.

Whilst some clients will use SMART-Drop exclusively to help achieve their marketing objectives, increasingly the service sits alongside a client’s primary use of the core services, particularly Royal Mail door drops.

Many clients rightfully acknowledge one of SMART-Drop’s key strengths as covering postal sectors where target market densities have deteriorated to an extent that full postal sector coverage is no longer viable.

Yet their target market exists and is often found in postal sectors the client may not have previously covered, so we are in effect providing new coverage and response opportunities.

We’d be delighted at any opportunity of working with more new users.

Just send us a brief, request a meeting or simply call us and we will provide a speculative response to any requirements you may have.

Its unlikely any of our competitors will provide a comparative proposition, as we really are at the forefront of sub sector targeting and distribution.
