Royal Mail Door to Door Price Increase

Royal Mail Door to Door Price Increase

Royal Mail have announced a price increase for their door to door service.

This will take effect on bookings made after 4th October, meaning that door drop distribution bookings from w/c 28th October will be charged at the higher price, if you have not booked by the 4th.

The average price rise for Royal Mail Door to Door is 5%, though leaflet distribution costs for the lowest weight band – under 20 grams – will be largely unaffected. This includes single sheet leaflets, DL leaflets and some other formats.

The price rise comes off the back of a price rise that was implemented in March 2024, meaning two price rises in 2024.

This reflects the challenge of costs to provide the door to door service within Royal Mail and remains a relatively low increase compared with postage products.

However, the rise will come as a disappointment to Royal Mail door to door users and as licensed resellers, The Letterbox Consultancy will help brands navigate their way through the changes and to keep prices as low and cheap as possible.
