Annual DMA Door Drop Report - 2024
The DMA Annual Door Drop report has been released for 2024.
This reviews annual volumes, spend and engagement trends for door drop across the year of 2023.
2023 volumes have shown a 14% decline, with spend down by a similar amount, though the number of advertisers using the channel has grown.
The report looks at market factors affecting door drop, such as Royal Mail industrial action in 2022, inflation and rising print costs.
JICMAIL data helps to give readers insight into how audiences are reacting to leaflets, enveloped items and magazines through their door – with the attention that door drop items gather on the increase.
Contributors to the report include Neal Dodd from The Letterbox Consultancy, as well as other members of the DMA Door Drop Hub – which includes leading industry figures from the likes of Royal Mail Door to Door and prominent team distribution companies.

We will also be posting comment about what we feel this means for the wider door drop channel, and how these volumes compare against our own.
